Eleanor is a representative for local and international causes. She strongly feels that making music is not in isolation from life itself - from politics - and that social circumstances affect culture, mental health, musical rhetoric and artistic expression.
Creating safe, welcoming spaces for people to enjoy live music is of paramount importance to Eleanor, who defies archaic western classical music 'norms'. She stages world-class musical events that blend cultures and traditions, welcoming global audiences of all ages and genders.

The album of the Lullabies for the Land book will be ready to release in the first part of 2026.
Eleanor's interview for the What Musicians Don't Talk About podcast, sponsored by Royal Society of Musicians, will be out early in 2026. Eleanor speaks about being a politically active musician and what that means for her career.
Eleanor will continue to perform Lullabies for the Land and to promote the book, in the UK and around the world. If you have, or know of, a group that would like a presentation or concert of the book, or to discuss a hybrid performance where aspects of the lullabies book are featured but in a wider context, don't hesitate to get in touch with Eleanor: info@eleanorturner.com
Dima and Eleanor hope that sales of the book, in its soft cover and digital formats, continue to thrive, as every penny from these sales goes to the two charities, the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund and the Middle East Children's Alliance. They are also looking into producing a second edition in which the lullabies appear in a different format: chords, lyrics and possibly guitar tab.
Thank you for your continued interest in this meaningful project. The next performance that includes Palestinian lullabies will be on Friday 13th February 2026 in London at Sound Over Silence. Eleanor will present the book with pride at 'One Harp World', the 15th World Harp Congress, in Toronto, Canada in July 2026.
